When the facility confirms a booking, ask for a written movement record. Useful fields include booking date and time, booking number, arresting agency, charges, release date and time, release authority, bond data where relevant, destination, receiving agency, and booking photograph. A narrow request tied to one episode is less likely to mix old and current records.
The Bolivar County public-records page does not publish a jail-specific form. Verify the preferred submission method by telephone. Request electronic copies and a cost estimate. The county has not published a booking-release or photo fee schedule.
Cleveland Court Release Proof
Cleveland municipal court can hold the city case, while justice or circuit court may control other charges or later proceedings. Identify the court and case number instead of assuming every Cleveland arrest belongs to Circuit Court. For felony matters, Bolivar County’s Second Judicial Circuit clerk counter is in Cleveland, but the charge and filing decide the proper custodian.
Ask for the docket sheet and the exact document that explains the custody change. Cleveland Release Versus Transfer
A person who leaves the booking facility may return to the community, transfer to MDOC after sentencing, move to another county on a warrant, enter USMS custody, or be handed to another agency. Only the first category is plainly a community release. Ask for the actual destination field and use precise language.
An MDOC transfer should lead to the state offender search. Compare the MDOC number, identity, conviction county, sentence, current location, and Tentative Release Date. A federal pretrial transfer may not appear in BOP because the U.S. Marshals Service can hold defendants in contract space before sentencing. ICE custody is civil and must be confirmed separately. No dedicated federal or ICE detention facility was verified in Bolivar County.

Cleveland Roster Search Limits
No official Bolivar County current roster, 24-hour release feed, 72-hour feed, municipal release list, or sheriff app was found. For a release in a known period, ask the receiving facility whether its system can produce a released-bookings report for exact start and end timestamps. If not, request one named booking. Cleveland Release Record Requests
